Zabargad Island

Zabargad (means “Topaz” in Egyptian Arabic) is a superb dive spot and is the largest of Egypt’s 4 Southern Red Sea marine parks. It lies 70kms off the mainland. The island has exquisite turquoise bays, sandy beaches and a 235 meters high hill at its centre. We can still find evidence of an island community that mined the semi-precious stones there.

St-John’s Reef

St-John’s Reef is a great reef 21kms long and 13kms wide. It offers amazing dives spots. The fantastic drop offs are covered with big gorgonias and colourful brights soft corals. At the reef itself there is a lot of marine life (turtles, barracudas, sharks) and, in the blue, there are sometimes dolphins and/or mantas.

Shaab Sataya

Shaab Sataya (Dolphins Reef) is a great reef more than 2kms long. The dolphins like this place and spend a lot of time there every day. Therefore, depending on what they want, it will be possible to see them, to swim among them or to play with them. We are committed to approach and swim among these wonderful wild and free beings respectfully and with a deep kindness.

Rocky Island is a small oval shaped barren sand island situated 5kms Southeast of Zabargad. Its steep walls are exposed to strong currents but it is surrounded by a short reef plateau, which makes for a convenient safety stop at the end of the dive.

Sataya Bay

After a short navigation – about 2h30 – we will anchor the boat for the duration of the stay in Sataya Bay, a magical and enchanting place where we can meet free dolphins. It will then be possible, according to the desire of the dolphins, to see them, to swim or to play with them. We have the unique privilege to approach and swim among these wonderful wild and free dolphins often considered as spiritual being and we are committed to do so respectfully with a deep kindness. So, we will sometimes find them playing, sometimes just wanting to share a moment of swimming with us but sometimes we will find them sleepy, in which case we will not disturb them. Sataya Bay abounds with all kinds of fish and you will enjoy snorkelling along the coral reefs. It is also possible to enjoy this wonderful place to dive or to perform an intro dive (not included in the price).
